Better Than Sax - Funk Into Your Soul
‘Better Than Sax’ are an up and coming 6-piece band from Bristol who perform an energetic blend of funk, soul and jazz. They have a broad array of instruments ranging from saxophone to harmonica.
They won free time at our studio after performing at a local young bands event called Photorola, which is sponsored by Audio Shelter. Bands that sell the most tickets for this showcase receive two free hours at our studio.
We completed the recording and mixing of one track in 8 hours, resulting in a stylishly produced song similar to the retro funk act ‘Quantic Soul Orchestra’.
